APPLY FIRST AID - in the Workplace (previously called Senior First Aid) is a comprehensive, yet easy to understand course. This course combines three main units Apply First Aid (HLTFA301B), Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTFA201A) and CPR (HLTCPR201A), all these units are workplace approved. 

The Apply First Aid course is designed to be a flexible and easy learning course allowing participants to complete the theory component in their own time, either online or in a written home study workbook. Then attend a one day 6-8 hour classroom session to complete the practical training and assessment. 

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to confidently recognise and respond to a range of emergency situations requiring first aid, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

CERTIFICATION:

On successful completion of the course requirements, you will receive a statement of attainment which will be valid for 3 years as per the Australian Resuscitation Policy, the Perform CPR module is only valid for 1 year.

Statement of Attainment –HLTFA301B Apply First Aid and includes HLTCPR201A Perform CPR.  The course is nationally recognised through the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), and is Workplace Approved throughout Australia.
